HUI MILANO unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, “THE FAN CODE,” on September 27, 2026, during Milan Fashion Week at the historic Palazzo Turati.

Under the creative direction of founder and designer Huizhou Zhao, the collection explores the evolving relationship between Chinese cultural heritage and contemporary fashion, drawing inspiration from the traditional Chinese round fan as a symbol of memory, femininity, and cultural transformation.

The runway presentation opened with an artistic performance featuring interconnected red threads, symbolising the passage of time, cultural memory, and the dialogue between East and West.

At the heart of THE FAN CODE lies a tribute to the Miao women of Guizhou, whose generations of weaving, embroidery, dyeing, and craftsmanship have preserved and transformed cultural traditions. Through printed silks, translucent fabrics, structured textiles, and contemporary silhouettes, HUI reinterprets these cultural references into a modern fashion language.

More than a celebration of heritage, THE FAN CODE presents tradition as a living expression of identity — one that continues to evolve through the women who carry it forward.

The complete HUI MILANO Spring/Summer 2027 runway collection is now available on Vogue Runway, marking another chapter in the Maison's ongoing dialogue between Eastern heritage and international fashion.
