HUI FOUNDATION
PRESERVING HERITAGE, EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES
More than a fashion brand, HUI is a cultural bridge. Through the HUI Foundation and the Century Fashion Museum, it is committed to preserving Chinese heritage and traditional craftsmanship.

Founded in 2016, the HUI Foundation is dedicated to safeguarding China’s cultural heritage by combining traditional Chinese crafts with modern design. Its mission is to protect skills that are on the verge of being lost and continue to explore the traditional handicrafts of China's ethnic minorities, such as the Miao, Buyi and Dong. At the same time, it creates social value by empowering disadvantaged communities.
The HUI Foundation encourages donations and organizes educational and cultural tours, inviting to travel into the Guizhou region to visit villages beyond the usual tourist destinations. Here people can meet the local communities and take part in an authentic experience.
Thanks to donations, local women can continue working to preserve the extraordinary legacy of craftsmanship and manual skills that define their cultural identity.

CENTURY FASHION MUSEUM
The HUI Century Fashion Museum, founded with the support of the HUI Foundation and located in Shenzhen, is a national institution dedicated to preserving and celebrating China’s sartorial heritage. Its extensive collection features historical garments from the Qing Dynasty to modern times, including embroidery and textiles from China’s ethnic minorities.
Through curated exhibitions, the museum traces the evolution of Chinese fashion culture—from imperial courts to contemporary design—showcasing the richness and diversity of China's craft legacy. As both an educational and creative hub, the museum inspires HUI Milano's collections and promotes global appreciation of Chinese art, aesthetics, and cultural philosophy.
