On the occasion of Milano Fashion Week, HUI Milano presents Her Threads, the FW26–27 collection rooted in the ancient tradition of Nü Hong (女红), the feminine art of embroidery, reinterpreted as a contemporary language of identity, memory, and resilience.
More than a craft technique, Nü Gong represents a silent heritage passed down from generation to generation — a domestic knowledge through which women have stitched emotions, hopes, and personal stories into fabric. With Her Threads, HUI Milano transforms this intimate practice into a powerful visual narrative projected onto the international stage.
The FW26–27 runway show is conceived as an immersive journey through suspended threads — a symbolic landscape accompanying models across the different seasons of a woman’s life. From innocence to awareness, from invisibility to full self-affirmation, the scenography reflects the emotional and social layers that evolve over time.
